        ### **Technical Datasheet: Alloy 901 / Incoloy 901 / UNS N09901**
---
#### **1. Overview**
**Alloy 901** (commercially referred to as **Incoloy® 901**) is a nickel-iron-chromium precipitation-hardening superalloy designed for high-temperature applications requiring exceptional creep resistance and mechanical strength. While commonly associated with the Nimonic series, this alloy is also marketed under the Incoloy brand due to its significant iron content and specific application range. Incoloy 901 maintains excellent mechanical properties at temperatures up to 590°C (1100°F) and offers an optimal balance between high-temperature performance and cost-effectiveness compared to more highly alloyed nickel-base superalloys.
